December 2010

I’m totally excited to see the beginning of a New Year roll in. It feels like a new beginning, a chance to start over again or maybe just carry on from where you left off. With bigger goals, better thought out plans on getting there and enough motivation to share with everyone especially you!

I have always found, the more you give, the more you get back & the more fulfilling your life is. So I’m here to help motivate you to be the best that you can be. Half the reason you may not be making it to your finish line is because you don’t believe you can actually get there, maybe you just don’t know how or worse yet you don’t believe you deserve it! We are all here for a reason, find that reason and shine

Let’s make 2011 your year, no more excuses no more some –days, this is the year of making all your dreams come true and I would love to share this incredible journey with you! Happy New Year xoxo

I am heading to Fiji tomorrow with my family for a week so this will be my last blog for 2010.

I have had a wonderful year, at times bitten off more than I could chew but always managed to get through and look back with no regrets. I hope you feel the same way or if you did not achieve what you set out to this year you have a chance to make a fresh start in just a few days. Dream big, bigger than you ever imagined possible and work towards making it happen, because you are more capable than you realize.

Thanks so much for your support and friendship this year, I can’t wait to see what 2011 holds, my goals are always sky high and yours should be too.

We had Dior's 4th Birthday last weekend, unfortunately it did end up raining almost all day but she had a great time and all the children didn't seem bothered by the bad weather and went on all the different rides we had outside. Next time I will remember to write ‘bring your swim suit and an umbrella’ on the invitations because you just never know what the weather is going to be like in New Zealand! Check out my Face Book page for more photos of Dior's Birthday party including her party video clip.

During winter this year we planted a bunch of swan plants so we could show the kids the amazing cycle of life through a butterfly. We have had 7 chrysalises in our garden and yesterday we watched 4 of them hatch all within an hour of each other. It was so amazing to watch the chrysalis break open and the butterfly to come out, and such an amazing & beautiful thing for the children & myself to see.

Wow it’s been a very productive week which has made up for last week. Not that last week was unproductive just that I wasn’t in my usual happy place but I’m back there now and that’s where I plan to stay! I have had and continue to have so much going on, where do I even start??

The licence man came today to take away my licence for exceeding my ‘Demerit points’ but I wasn’t home so he just left a note, saying “Urgent Matter please call”, they think they are being tricky but we recognized this note because it was only a few short months ago that Chris received his very own little note when he lost his licence! (Thank goodness he has his back now and can drive me around lol) But until the licence man comes back, I get to keep driving for a while longer which is great and I will appreciate every minute lol.

So here we are, just 2 days into the School holidays. We have decided we need to hire a part-time Nanny or we will literally get nothing done for the next 8 weeks. Just a few hours each day is all I ask, so I can at least train and get a few things done. Answering my emails is like a full time job alone! I have been training at night after the kids go to bed but it leaves little time for any relaxation!

You may have already seen on my home page or Face Book that I have decided to offer a ‘Skype consultation service’ on my website. Unfortunately I just don’t have the time to sit and write training & nutrition programmes for people, but I do want to help you! So I think this is the best solution to my lack of time but want to help problem. Plus I like the idea of getting to know you on a more personal level, not to mention the fact that we can cover a lot of ground over a 30 minute phone consult. It would be up to you weather you wanted it to be a Skype video call or just a phone call, either way I think this is going to fit into my hectic days a lot better than writing lengthy emails and definitely allot more fun!

I am so excited that the cover Jamie Eason & I shot earlier this year in California for Oxygen has been released! It will be available on the 1st of January 2011. When you shoot a cover you never know when it’s going to come out so it was a nice Christmas surprise for both Jamie & I. It’s also very exciting that’s it’s not just another cover but a ‘Special Edition Workout Annual’ which means it will be available all year, so it’s extra special! Jamie and I are talking about shooting again in LA in January next year when the LA Fit Expo is on. I really love Los Angles, Beverly Hills in particular so it will give me a great reason to go back!

1-Plan & prepare your food ahead of time

2-Wake up earlier

3-Keep tempting foods out of the house ....

Christmas is a busy time of the year, with end of the year work functions to attend, Christmas present buying. Decorating the house, Children’s school & sport prize giving, break up lunch parties, and end of the year School productions X 3. Not to mention my beautiful little Dior-Rose has her birthday on December the 19th, it really keeps things from being boring that’s for real!
